We join with you, Aile, in lifting up your marriage and your husband, Glhen, to our Heavenly Father. We stand on the promise in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Let us pray together:
Dear Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We plead for Your intervention in Glhen's heart. We pray that You soften it and remove any grudges or bitterness he holds. According to Ephesians 4:32 (WEB), "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you," we ask that You help Glhen to forgive Aile, just as You have forgiven us all.
Lord, we know that You see Aile through the lens of Your love and sacrifice on the cross. We ask that You help Glhen to see her in that same light. Remind him of the wedding vows he made before You, and help him to honor them. In Malachi 2:16 (WEB), You tell us, "'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously.'" We pray for a miracle in their marriage, that You would heal and restore it, and keep their family whole.
We ask that You remove anything or anyone that is causing division in their marriage. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of division or discord. As it is written in Romans 16:17 (WEB), "Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them."
Father, we ask that You provide a way for Aile and Glhen to live under one roof again, to restore their family and their home. We claim the promise in Matthew 19:26 (WEB), "With God, all things are possible."
Aile, we encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your marriage. Remember the power of persistent prayer, as shown in the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8. Keep your heart soft and forgiving as well, remembering that Jesus said in Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB), "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
We are praying with you and for you, believing that God can and will restore your marriage. Trust in Him, and keep your heart aligned with His will.
In Jesus' name, amen.
