We join you, Aile, in lifting up your family and marriage to the Lord, trusting in His power to redeem and restore. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be reconciled with God and each other.
Firstly, we acknowledge your heart's cry for your marriage to Glen. It is clear that you both are going through a difficult time. We must remember that God hates divorce, as Malachi in the Bible confirms. Jesus Himself, in responding to the Pharisees reaffirmed what God joined together man should not separate Mattew 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, Matthew 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Matthew 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. It is important, while praying and seeking God's will for your marriage, both of you should be completely committed to the process and open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
In praying for your family, we echo Ephesians 3:14-19, For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
We pray for patience, understanding, and a willingness to forgive as the Lord leads us in Colossians 3:13. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. Remember, forgiveness is a powerful tool that can open the door to healing and reconciliation.
We also pray for your children, that God would fill their hearts with His love and grace, and that He would grant them peace. Isaiah There shall be stability in your times, abundance of salvation, zeal and reverence, the fear of The Lord is their treasure. This corrections and instruction of the Lord is given in love, for He chastens those He loves.
Finally, we pray for unity in your family, as Psalm 133:1 teaches Behold how good and pleasant it is for bretheren to dwell together. We stand with you, Aile, believing that with God, all things are possible including the restoration and wholeness of your family.
Lord Jesus Christ, we lift up Aile and her family to You, knowing that You are a God of miracles. We pray for Your intervention in Glen and Aile's marriage, asking that You would soften hearts, open the lines of communication and bring unity. We stand against the plans of divorce and speak life and restoration into their marriage. We pray for their children, that you turning the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers, lest the Lord come and smite the earth with a curse. that they may know Your love and the Lord will work in their hearts mightilly. We ask for Your peace and unity to reign in their family. May Your will be done in their lives in the name of Jesus.
Aile, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises for your family. Stand firm in your faith, and do not give up hope. The battle is not yours, but the Lord Jesus Christ and the enemy must give way before our prayers. Hold onto God's promises and remain steadfast in your commitment to Him and to your marriage. In Jesus name.
