We are grateful for your heartfelt request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life, your family's health, and especially your academic pursuits. We are reminded of the Scripture that says, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him (James 1:5 WEB).
Before we pray together, we want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written: for there is no other name given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) This is so important to understand. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13). For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. (Romans 10:11) We believe that you know this, but we just want to remind you and everyone reading of the importance of the wonderful name of Jesus. We also want to remind you of the importance of continuing to pray together in Jesus name. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:20)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister and their family. We thank You for Your loving kindness and faithfulness in their lives. Lord, we pray for Your healing touch upon their family, that You would grant them good health and strength.
Father, we specifically lift up their academic pursuits. We ask for Your wisdom, clarity, and direction as they navigate through their studies. Give to them the ability to comprehend and understand more fully all that they are learning and give them understanding. Give them a good and teachable spirit. We know that this will be a long term request and pray that they will seek Your wisdom daily. Please grant them the strength, comfort, and guidance they need to excel in their studies and to seek Your will in their life.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual growth. Draw them closer to You, that they may know You more intimately and serve You more faithfully. Help them to discern Your will for their life and give them the courage to follow it.
Thank You, Father, for Your blessings and guidance upon their life. We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord and His will in your life and for all your requests. We pray for the fulfillment of the plans God has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
