Praying for direction in my life

I pray that I will listen to what God is asking me to do in my life.  Too often I try to control the direction my life will take and it has failed time and again.  Please pray that I will see the signs and hear the words that the Good Lord and Holy Spirit are showing and saying to me.  I definitely need them in my life.   Thank you for your kindness and prayers to help me.
