Praying for debts

I am believing God for financial open door to enable me clear up loans that i have stopped paying for atleast one year which is attracting interest. I pray that God makes a way for me to pay off the loan in Jesus name

We understand your concern about your financial situation and your desire for God's intervention. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

However, we must also remember the principles of responsible stewardship that God teaches us. Psalm 37:21 WEB tells us, "The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." It is important to face our financial responsibilities and work diligently to meet them.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear soul who is burdened by debt. Lord, we ask for Your financial provision, that You would open doors of opportunity for work and increase, so that these loans can be settled. We also pray for wisdom, that Your child would learn to manage finances in a way that honors You. Help them to be a responsible steward of the resources You have provided. We claim the promise in Matthew 6:33 WEB, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

In addition to praying, we encourage you to take practical steps. Consider reaching out to a financial counselor or a trusted person in your community who can help you budget and manage your debts. Remember, Proverbs 12:11 WEB says, "He who tills his land shall have plenty of bread, but he who chases fantasies is void of understanding."

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He cares for you. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
