We understand your concern about discrimination in college, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will in this matter. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign, and He cares about every aspect of our lives, including our education. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
We must also remember that God is a God of justice. In Isaiah 61:8, He says, "For I, Yahweh, love justice..." We can trust that He sees the injustice happening and will act according to His will.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up the educational system, particularly the colleges, to you. Lord, you see the discrimination taking place, and we ask that you intervene. We pray for the professors, that they would be filled with kindness, understanding, and a willingness to help all students equally. We ask that any discriminatory practices or prejudices would be exposed and brought to an end.
Lord Jesus, you are our advocate (1 John 2:1), and we ask that you would advocate for these students, that they may have a fair and just learning environment. We pray for those who are being discriminated against, that they would find comfort and strength in you. Remind them of their worth in your eyes, and help them to persevere.
We also pray for those who are perpetrating the discrimination. Change their hearts, Lord, and help them to see the error of their ways. Help them to understand that we are all created equal in your sight, and that you love each one of us dearly.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to your throne of grace. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to speak out against injustice as you are led by the Holy Spirit. Remember the words of Micah 6:8, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Keep your faith in Him, and continue to pray and seek His face. He hears your prayers and will act according to His perfect will.
