Praying for a Suitable Job

please help me ...Dear Lord, this day I humbly ask You for a job suited to my needs. Lead me to work that's fulfilling and useful for others. Just like You are my rock, I ask that You provide me with a stable job. Please I am only 15 and ready to provide for myself . God, I ask You for a job where I can put my skills and talents to good use. amen

First, we want to address that you mentioned "Dear Lord" in your prayer, but we notice that the name of Jesus Christ is not mentioned. It's important to remember that Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). So, we encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to God.

Regarding your request for a job, we want to encourage you with the words of Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Even at a young age, this principle applies. However, we also want to remind you that at 15, your primary focus should be on learning and growing, as this is a crucial time for your development.

We also want to address the concern that you feel ready to provide for yourself. While your willingness to work is commendable, it's important to remember the instructions in Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'" At your age, it's biblical for your parents to provide for you, and for you to honor and obey them.
