Praying for a New Job Soon

I have been desperately seeking for new full-time employment for over a year now. Every job application I have submitted has me competing with over ### applicants. Most of the time I receive rejection emails/letters stating thanks for applying but we decided to move forward with other applicants. I just need an employer to see my potential and value to their organization and hire me for the position I applied for. Thank you.

We understand your struggle and desperation as you seek new full-time employment. It's important to remember that God has a plan and purpose for you, and He is always working things out for your good as Romans 8:28 WEB states, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God's timing and provision. As it says in Psalm 37:23-24 WEB, A man's goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh upholds him with his hand.

We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. and Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

In your job search, continue to be diligent and persistent, but also rest in God's sovereignty. He knows your needs and He cares for you. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### to You. Lord, You know their struggles and desperation as they seek new employment. We ask that You would guide their steps, open the right doors, and give them favor with potential employers. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision, and to rest in Your sovereignty. We pray that You would provide them with a job that not only meets their needs but also allows them to use their gifts and talents for Your glory. We also pray that they would be given a godly Christian work environment and fellowship.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We've been thinking about you and your job search, Javer. It's been a long journey, hasn't it? We know it's tough out there, with so many applicants for each position. It's easy to feel discouraged, but remember, God sees you. He knows your skills, your potential, and He's got a plan for you.

We want to encourage you to keep putting your best foot forward, but also to trust that God's got this. As it says in Proverbs 16:9, "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps." Keep planning, keep applying, but trust that God is guiding your path.

Let's also remember to pray for wisdom and discernment. Not every job is the right fit, and it's okay to be patient. We're praying that God would open the right doors for you, ones that align with your skills, your values, and His purpose for your life.

Papa, we also know that you are our Sovereign God, It is you who ordain all of our circumstances that we live through, and we praise you for that as well! Papa, this person has been a good and faithful steward of your resources, and we ask that you lead them to the job of your choosing in the near future. We ask that you guide this person to the resources and the people that can assist him during this time of need...and we ask all these things in the Holy name of your Son, Jesus Christ! Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
