Let us stand together in prayer for ###, trusting in the Lord's goodness and provision. We know that God has a plan and a purpose for each of our lives, and that He cares for our needs, assuring us to ask for what we need in Jesus' name. Jesus himself told us in Matthew 7:7-8, Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
As ### seeks employment as a nurse, we pray that God will open the right doors for her. We pray that His favor will rest upon her and that she will find a position that not only meets her professional aspirations but also allows her to be a light for Christ in her workplace. Let us remember that whatever we do, we should do it as unto the Lord, as Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
However, let us also remember to pray that ###'s desire to work as a nurse aligns with God's will for her life. Sometimes, the Lord may have different or greater plans for us than we have for ourselves. As the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 37:4, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Lastly, let us also hope that ### has placed her faith in Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we can approach God the Father, as we read in John 14:6, Yeshua said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. If she has not, let us pray for her salvation, that she may come to know Him as her personal Lord and Savior.
Father in heaven, we come before You today, lifting up ###. We ask, Lord, that You would provide her with a nursing job according to Your will. Give her favor in the eyes of potential employers, and open the doors that You would have her walk through. Help her to trust in You, Lord, and to rest in Your perfect plan for her life. If she does not know you personally, then use this time to call her to yourself. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
