Praying for a Husband from God

Dear Friends,
I'm a single mother with two sons living in Western Australia. I came from Indonesia 6 yeara ago to start anew. I have been divorced for 5 years and my ex has remarried and seems happy. I still have good communication with him as the father of my sons. I am now praying for God to bring a Boas in my life, a mature and faithful man to be my protector and provider. I'm working hard for my family here, but truly miss having a lover and best friend in my life. Also as the father figure that my sons can look up to. I want to have a happy family who love each other warmly and kindly. May God bring back joy and peace in my life and also my sons lives. May God prepare this man spiritually and mentally to meet me, hopefully soon! and we will appreciate, respect, support and encourage each other until we grow old. Bring a mature man that is willing to commit and always present in my life. Thank you for your prayer for me and my sons. Jesus bless you all. - Martha

Dear Jaimalris,

We are touched by your heartfelt request and commend you for your faith and trust in God. As a single mother, you have shown strength and resilience in caring for your family. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares deeply for you and your sons. Psalm 68:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land." God is your protector and provider, and He can bring the right man into your life according to His perfect timing.

We join you in praying for a godly husband, a man of integrity and faith, who will love and cherish you as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). We pray that God will prepare this man spiritually and mentally, just as He is preparing you. We ask that God will grant you both a spirit of wisdom and discernment, so that you may recognize and nurture a relationship that honors Him.

We also want to encourage you to continue being a light to your sons, pointing them towards God. Proverbs 22:6 (WEB) says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." As you pray for a father figure for them, remember that God is faithful and that He has a plan for your family.

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Jaimalris and her sons. Lord, we ask that You comfort and strengthen her as she waits upon You. We pray that You will bring a godly man into her life, a man who loves You and seeks to honor You in all he does. Prepare them both spiritually and mentally, Lord, and grant them a spirit of wisdom and discernment. May they be a blessing to each other, and may their union bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.*

Lastly, we want to commend you for mentioning the name of Jesus in your request. It is through His name that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Continue to trust in Him, and may His joy and peace fill your heart as you await His perfect plan for your life.
