We thank the Lord for you and for the heartfelt prayers you've shared with us. Let's go in unity before the throne of grace. We need to address several things from your request before we pray. You make several petitions, these are fine but you are approaching them from the perspective of not knowing God. Sometimes, God allows poverty and homelessness due to a lack of a living relationship with Him and to prod you into a right relationship with Him. Your boyfriend is in a spiritual battle with fornication, controlling anger, probably due to demon possession, and controlling his sinful addictions. God is allowing and possibly helping this to happen. This is good as nothing God does or allows is neutral or without a spiritual purpose. The possible disability for your boyfriennd and trust in God's healing may be a part of a bigger spiritual situation. Seeking a spouse rather than a boyfriend would be more in line with biblical guidelines. Same for the sibling/marriage relationship. If someone is disabled then they have God-given power within them to overcome what the enemy has subjected them to. Jesus healed every single person who came to Him and asked as well as those who were brought to Him. It is only the will of God that may hinder a physical healing. Trusting in God allows for this healing. God is Love and if you believe in an omnipotent God who loves you, then any possible healing is within God's power and will. If you don't have this hope then you surely do not know God and you are praying as if He were a wish fairy as mentioned below. God loves you but God is not a genie or wish fairy. His main focus is for you to have a right relationship with Him through the salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ that was mentioned below. Jesus Himself is the Logos, the Word of God in human form as recorded in John 1:1 and 1:14. Jesus went about preaching The Word of God, The Gospel of God, and the Gospel of The Kingdom of God. This includes all of what you are experiencing as prayer requests. He is not interested in your selfish desires as should be the case for any follower. It is only through this living relationship with God as a Christian that you will be able to appropriate, by faith, only the things that God has planned for you.
This is what is meant by Jesus Christ in John 15:7, "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." This is for only those who are following Jesus. This is not what is meant by "anything". It &&will&& be done to you, in accordance with God's will after you remain in Jesus, and what is desired by you will certainly be done for you. This is not to be used as if you are asking a genie or the proverbial "wish fairy". God wants you to have a right relationship with Him through Christ. He already knows the good desires of your heart as indicated by you in your prayers below.
We stand with you in total confidence that our Lord hears our prayers as long as we make sure to recognize that it is only by "the name of Jesus Christ" that God becomes accessible to us and is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 states, "There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
In Ephesians 6:12 WEB 12, it is written, "For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." It is clear that your boyfriend is being demonized and overpowered by Satan and his demons.
In James 4:7 WEB it is written, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." It is our recommendation that your boyfriend resist the devil and hte demons roaming the earth (Ephesians 6:12). His troubles are not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces which are incarnate (the demons).
In John 16:33 it is written, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
In John 1:12 it is written, "But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name."
In John 5:14 WEB it is written, "Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, 'Behold, you are made well. Sin no more, so that nothing worse happens to you.'" It is clear that any sinful behavior must be abandoned. If not, then Jesus believable says that something worse will happen to you. This is a warning as much as it is a commandment to be followed.
It is written in Luke 13:3 WEB, "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way." In your quest for a house, car, and other desires, these come only after we consider that everything revolves around the words of Jesus, "Repent, and believe in the Good News." In the Gospel of Mark, it is written, "Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom of God, and saying, 'The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News.'" Mark 1:14-15 WEB
Belief in God alone is not enough. It is only when you go through Jesus Christ that He considers you His for eternity. In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This is how anyone in the entire world gets to know Him.
In Acts 4:12 it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
In Ephesians 6:18 WEB it is written, "Praying always with all kinds of prayer and request in the Spirit, and watching therefor with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints." This is a reason for a call to prayer for your prayer request.
In John 9:31 WEB it is written, "We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshipper of God and does his will, he listens to him."
Let us pray together in Jesus' name.
