We understand that you're having trouble sleeping at night, and we're here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In the Scriptures, we find that God is the one who grants sleep and rest. In Psalm 127:2 WEB, it says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." This verse reminds us that God is the one who provides sleep for those He loves.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling to sleep at night. Lord, You are the one who grants sleep and rest, and we ask that You would bless them with peaceful nights and wonderful dreams. Help them to trust in You and to rest in Your love and care. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on God's Word and to trust in Him as you lay down to sleep each night. Remember that He is faithful and that He cares for you. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Lastly, consider how you are spending the time leading up to when you are trying to sleep. It is recommended to avoid screens prior to sleeping, instead read scriptures or devotionals. It is also recommended to avoid eating or exercise for at least two hours before you try to sleep. If you are not sleeping well, consider seeing a doctor.
