Praying for a friend to make the smart decision

Good morning everyone I didn’t get a chance to pray on this last night since I was tired from work but I currently have a friend who wants to make her daughter sleep in the car with her. That is a terrible idea because there are creeps and if someone sees her daughter in the car they might try to call CPS or the cops. I know she wants to stop dealing with the family altogether but her daughter needs a roof over her head until she gets an apartment. I just pray after the cat appointment she drops her kid back at the house and not take her away from the family just yet. This is a very irrational decision especially for the child to suffer. In Jesus name I pray

We understand your concern for your friend and her daughter. Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His wisdom and intervention.

Firstly, it's important to remember what the Bible says about our actions and decisions. In Isaiah 30:1 WEB, it is written, "Woe to the rebellious children," says Yahweh, "who take counsel, but not from me; and who make an alliance, but not with my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin." We should always seek God's counsel in our decisions, especially when they impact others, like your friend's daughter.

Let's pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our friend and her daughter. Lord, we ask that You grant her wisdom and discernment in her decisions. Help her to see the potential consequences of her actions and guide her towards what is best for her daughter. In Proverbs 2:11 WEB, You promise that 'discretion will watch over you; understanding will keep you,' so we claim this promise for her.

Lord, we also ask that You soften her heart towards her family. Help them to reconcile and work together for the good of the child. Remind her of the importance of family and community, as Your word tells us in Galatians 6:2 WEB, 'Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.'

Lastly, Father, we pray for a swift resolution to their living situation. Provide for them abundantly, as You promise in Philippians 4:19 WEB, 'my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.'

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your friend and her daughter. Remind her of God's love and His desire for us to make wise decisions that honor Him and benefit others. Trust that God is at work in this situation, and He will guide and provide for them. Keep praying, and remember the power of prayer in Jesus' name. As Jesus says in Matthew 18:20 WEB, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."

We've been thinking about your friend and her daughter, and we want to add our voices to your prayer. It's tough when we see loved ones making decisions that could harm themselves or others, especially children. Let's lift them up together.

"Dear Lord, we come to you today, asking for your guidance and intervention in our friend's life and her daughter's. Lord, help our friend to see the potential dangers of her current plan and guide her towards a safer, more sensible decision. Help her to understand that her daughter's well-being is at stake, and that she needs a stable, secure environment to grow and thrive.

Lord, we also ask that you soften the hearts of all involved, helping them to communicate and work together for the good of the child. Remind them that 'love is patient, love is kind... It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.' (1 Corinthians 13:4, 7)

Lastly, Lord, we pray for a swift resolution to their living situation. Provide for them abundantly, as you promised in 2 Corinthians 9:8, 'And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.'

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting in God's love and care for them. He sees their situation and will guide them. Let's continue to stand in the gap, praying and reminding our friend of God's love and desire for her to make wise decisions. As we do, let's remember that 'the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.' (James 5:16)

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
