We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and hurt you are experiencing, Dweryall. It's important to remember that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18 WEB)
Firstly, we commend you for your repentant heart. The Lord promises that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB)
However, we want to remind you that God's desire is for reconciliation and restoration in your marriage. As it is written, Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. (Ephesians 5:22-23 WEB) God is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. His power is made perfect in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB)
It's also crucial to remember that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB) Therefore, fight the good fight of faith and take a stand against the enemy's attacks on your marriage.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister Dweryall. Lord, she is hurting, and we ask that You comfort her and give her peace. We pray for her marriage, that You would intervene and bring healing and restoration. We pray that both Dweryall and her husband would seek You wholeheartedly, and that their marriage would be a testament to Your faithfulness. Help to protect them from Satan's and the worlds influence and attacks. We also pray that You would give Dweryall strength and wisdom, and that she would be able to forgive and love her husband as You have commanded. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face. Trust that He is working everything out for your good and His glory. (Romans 8:28 WEB)
