We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, Dweryall. It's important to remember that God's will is always for our good, even when it's difficult to see it in the midst of our pain. Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
In times of distress, God wants us to cast all our anxiety on him because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). He is always with us, even when we feel alone. As it says, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).
Regarding your marriage, it's crucial to remember that God's will is for husbands and wives to be united and live in harmony. As the scripture says, Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. (Ephesians 5:22-25 WEB).
Even when reconciliation seems impossible, God can make a way. He specializes in redeeming what seems lost. Be patient, seek God and ask that He will work out everything according to his will. We ought to pray for what is right and leave the burden on God. A person’s steps are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for Yahweh holds him up by the hand (Psalm 37:23-24 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Dweryall and her husband. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in their marriage. We pray for healing and restoration and ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. If it is Your will, Lord, soften their hearts and draw them back together. Give Dweryall peace and comfort in this trial, and help her to trust in You with all her heart. We also pray and rebuke any temptations or fear of the unknown when considering allowing your will to be done. Trust is very hard but we must trust in the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the eradication of fear. Remove any darkness, Lord and forgive us of all of our sins and remove any path that would not bring glory and honor to you through Jesus Christ and the holy spirit. Guide them, O Holy Spirit in their path and the outcome for the future. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Dweryall. God loves you and He is working everything out for your good. Keep trusting in Him and seek out Christian counseling, family, friends and pastors to help you.
