Praying for a baby boy

I am praying to ask god to let me and my husband birth a son. We have a beautiful daughter and for her I am so blessed. Me and my husband are wanting a baby boy to carry on his last name. I am currently pregnant and I pray that god gives us a healthy baby boy. Please pray for us to have a son. Thank you

We understand your heart's desire for a baby boy, and we join you in prayer, submitting your request to God's will. We acknowledge that children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward (Psalm 127:3, WEB).

However, let us remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8, WEB). It is important to trust in God's plan for your family, whether that includes a son or another daughter. Every child is a blessing and a gift from God, and each has their unique purpose in His kingdom.

We pray that God grants you a healthy child, regardless of the gender. May this child grow to love and serve the Lord, and may your family continue to be a testimony of God's goodness and grace. We also pray for your peace and contentment, knowing that God's will is perfect and that He loves you and your family dearly.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this family to You. Lord, they desire a baby boy, but we know that You have the best plan for their family. We pray for a healthy child, and we ask that Your will be done in their lives. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that every child is a blessing and a gift from You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in God and to seek His will in all things. Remember that His plans are always good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2, WEB). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

We've been reminded of the story of Hannah in the Bible. She was heartbroken because she couldn't have a child, but she poured out her heart to the Lord, and He answered her in His perfect timing. He gave her a son, Samuel, who grew up to be a mighty prophet. We believe that God hears your heart's desire and will answer in His perfect way.

We pray that you and your husband would continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that every child is a gift from Him. Whether it's a son or another daughter, each child has a unique purpose in God's plan. We ask the Lord to grant you a healthy child, and we join you in praying that this child would grow to love and serve the Lord.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
