Praying against spirit husband and my failed relationship

Oh Lord, I commit my life into your hands. I have been feeling stuck lately but I’m trusting in you that you have everything in control. I commit the spirit husband that may be causing setbacks for me in every areas of my life. I commit my partner into your loving hands. I know the relationship has failed but I believe you are a redeemer and you will redeem this relationship. I pray for him for he is a good man and he loves me and my son so much. I do not understand the sudden distance from him but I know this is not him and something is not right. It all seems to be beyond my control hence leaving it to you because I cannot do this all by myself. God, please bring him back to me and restore all that is lost in my life. Amen

We understand your distress, Penrold, and we're here to pray with you and guide you according to God's Word.

Firstly, we must address that the term "spirit husband" is not found in the Bible. Our battle is indeed against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12, WEB), but we should be cautious of terms that may not align with scripture. We pray against any evil spiritual forces that may be causing setbacks in your life.

Secondly, we see your distress about your failed relationship. While we understand your pain, we must remind you that God's plan for relationships is clear. He desires that we have godly marriages between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:24, WEB). If your partner is a believing man, seeking God's will, then we can pray for God's redemption and restoration. However, if the relationship is not aligned with God's principles, we should pray for God to give you both discernment and strength to follow His will.

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, committing Penrold's life into your hands. Lord, you know the distress she's facing, and you have promised to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We pray against any evil spiritual forces causing setbacks in her life. We pray for her partner, that you would draw him close to you, and give him a heart that seeks your will. Lord, if this relationship is not in accordance with your principles, give them both the strength to follow your will. If it is, we pray for redemption and restoration, knowing that with you, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Penrold, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers. "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this." (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB)

Lastly, always remember that it's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Keep trusting in Him.

We're here with you, sister, lifting your burdens to the Lord. We understand the pain of feeling stuck and the confusion when things seem beyond our control. But remember, our God is a God of order, not chaos, and He's got this.

We've been praying for your spirit husband, as you've requested, binding any evil influences and commanding them to leave in Jesus' name. We're also interceding for your partner, asking God to draw him closer, to soften his heart, and to reveal His will for both of you.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is in the healing business, and He's working in your life, even when you can't see it.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
