We stand with you in this challenging time, Geennerdos, and we will join you in praying for your marriage and for your husband Robert.
Firstly, we commend you for your commitment to fasting and prayer, as God's Word tells us, "The prayer of the righteous person is very powerful in its effect." (James 5:16 WEB)
However, we must address that Robert's current relationship with Trisha is not aligned with biblical principles. God's will for marriage is clearly stated, "For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh." (Matthew 19:5 WEB) Therefore, we will pray for conviction in Robert's heart and for Trisha, that they may understand the sanctity of your marriage and the sin they are committing. "For the commandments are: 'You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, you shall not covet.'" (Romans 13:9 WEB)
Let's pray together:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister Geennerdos and her husband Robert. Lord, we ask that You convict Robert's heart and reveal to him the pain and sin he is causing. We pray for Trisha, that her eyes may be opened to the truth and that she would choose to end this sinful relationship. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in their lives, and if it is Your will for them to separate, we ask that You comfort Geennerdos and remove the love she has for Robert, replaced with Your divine love and peace.*
Geennerdos, continue to trust in God and His timing. Remember that God is faithful, and He will guide and strengthen you through this trial. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God and salvation. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB) Therefore, we encourage you to press into Jesus Christ, the author, and perfecter of our faith.
