We understand your concern for your family and the situation they are facing with the handyman. Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
In this situation, we are reminded of Psalm 37:5 WEB, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:" We encourage your family to commit their way to the Lord, trusting in Him to intervene in this situation. We also remind you of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the family of the one who has submitted this request. Lord, they have paid a handyman to fix their kitchen, and he has not called them as he was supposed to. We ask, Lord, that You would intervene in this situation. If this handyman is an honest man, we pray that You would prompt him to contact them and fulfill his obligations. If he is not, we pray that You would expose any deceit and protect Your children from being scammed.
We ask, Lord, that You would give them peace in this situation, that they would not be anxious, but rather trust in You. We pray that You would guide them, give them wisdom, and make their paths straight. We ask that You would provide for them and meet their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We also pray for the handyman, Lord. If he is acting dishonestly, we pray that You would convict his heart and draw him to repentance. We pray that he would come to know You, Lord, and that he would act with integrity and honesty.
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you and your family to continue to trust in the Lord, to pray together, and to seek His will in this situation. Remember that the Lord is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
