We understand that you are seeking prayers for protection, discernment, guidance, wisdom, strength, and knowledge for yourself and someone close to you, as well as prayers against any weapons formed against you. We stand with you in prayer and God's Word, trusting in its power and promises.
Firstly, we encourage both of you to remain strong in faith and close to God, as His Word says: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
We pray:
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up your children in prayer. We ask that you guide them and grant them the gifts of discernment, wisdom, and knowledge as they navigate their circumstances. Give them the strength to stand firm in their faith, and the wisdom to make decisions that align with your will.
Father, we claim your promise that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment you will condemn, Isaiah 54:17 WEB. We ask that you protect them from their trespassers, family, and any harm that may come their way. Surround them with your angels and let your peace be their shield and rampart. Psalm 91:11
We also pray for the family that is trespassing against them. We pray that you may soften their hearts and turn them away from any ill-intentions. As you have told us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Matthew 5:44 WEB
Lord, we ask that you reveal any hidden motives or intentions, and grant them the discernment to recognize and respond to any threats or dangers. Let them not be overcome by evil but rather overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 WEB
Father, we pray that they would have unity and that they would both continue to look to you to lead them on the paths everlasting. May you be the center of their relationship and in your will alone they seek their future together, Psalm 139:24 WEB.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in his name that we have access to you, Father. As scripture says: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
If you haven't already, we encourage both of you to surrender your lives to Jesus Christ, for it is only through a relationship with him that we can live abundant lives and be saved. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6 WEB
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 WEB
