We join you in thanking God for His goodness and presence in your life and the lives of your loved ones. It is wonderful to see your faith and trust in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We are reminded of Ephesians 3:14-19 WEB:
"For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
As for the vague references in your prayer, we encourage you to be specific in your requests, as God knows the details, but we need them to pray effectively with you.
We pray for the rightful heirs, those whom God has chosen, to return and take their rightful place in His kingdom. We ask that God's will be done in this situation and that His kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven.
We pray for peace. Psalm 147:11 WEB "He takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness."
We pray for mercy, knowing that God is merciful and full of love.
We pray for protection from the storms of life, remembering Jesus' words in Matthew 7:24-25 WEB:
"Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it didn’t fall, for it was founded on the rock."
We pray for those who do not know Jesus. We ask that the Holy Spirit draw them and that they come to a saving knowledge of Him. We remember 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB:
"It is good if you think of God and pray for His will to be done. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
Finally, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we can be saved. John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
