We join you in lifting up these precious individuals before our Heavenly Father. Let's surround them with love and prayer, trusting that God hears our cries and will move on their behalf.
1. For the one going through a tough time at work, we pray for strength and guidance. Lord, remind them that even in the midst of trials, you are always with them. Help them to find peace and purpose in their work, knowing that they are working for you. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters" (Colossians 3:23-24). We trust that you will give them the wisdom and courage to face each challenge.
2. For the one battling a serious illness, we ask for a miracle. Lord, you are the Great Physician, and we believe in your power to heal. We ask for your healing touch on their body, mind, and spirit. Comfort them and their family, and remind them of your unfailing love. "Is anyone among you suffering? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:13-14).
3. For the one preparing for major surgery, along with their family, we pray for comfort and peace. Lord, guide the hands of the surgeons and medical team. We trust in your sovereignty and believe that you are in control. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27).
4. For the one struggling with addiction, we pray for deliverance. Lord, break the chains of addiction and set them free. Surround them with your love and support, and lead them to resources and community that can help. "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded" (James 4:7-8).
5. For the one facing financial difficulties, we pray for wisdom and provision. Lord, help them to trust in you and guide them to make wise decisions. Remind them that you are their provider and that you will never leave them nor forsake them. "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?" (Matthew 6:25).
6. For the one dealing with depression and anxiety, we pray for healing and peace. Lord, heal their hearts and minds, and grant them your peace. Comfort them and remind them of your unfailing love. "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:6-7).
7. For the one going through a divorce, we pray for comfort and healing. Lord, be with them during this difficult time. We ask for your will to be done, and that you would bring restoration and redemption to this situation. Help them to seek a marriage that honors you in the future. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32).
8. For the one struggling with infertility, we ask for a miracle. Lord, we believe in your power to perform miracles and grant the desire of their heart. Comfort them and guide them through this journey. "He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the Lord" (Psalm 113:9).
9. For the one battling cancer, we pray for strength and healing. Lord, strengthen them and heal their body, mind, and spirit. Be with them and their family during this time. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).
10. For the one dealing with the loss of a loved one, we pray for comfort. Lord, be their source of strength and peace during this time of grief. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted" (Matthew 5:4).
11. For the one struggling with their faith, we pray for encouragement and guidance. Lord, remind them of your love and faithfulness. Help them to find their way back to you. "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).
12. For the one facing a difficult decision, we pray for wisdom and clarity. Lord, guide their steps and help them to make the decision that honors you. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).
13. For the one dealing with a chronic illness, we pray for strength and healing. Lord, strengthen them and heal their body, mind, and spirit. Be their source of hope and endurance. "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:2-3).
14. For the one struggling with loneliness, we pray for companionship. Lord, provide for them and remind them of your presence. We pray that you would bring someone into their life that they may eventually marry if that is your will for them. "For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish" (Jeremiah 31:25).
15. For the one going through a difficult time in their marriage, we pray for healing and reconciliation. Lord, bring healing and restoration to their marriage. Guide them to seek counsel and to work towards reconciliation. We remind them that you see marriage as being between a man and a woman and pray for you to work in their lives accordingly. "Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate" (Matthew 19:6).
16. For the one dealing with the aftermath of a natural disaster, we pray for their safety and provision. Lord, keep them safe and provide for their needs. Be their source of strength and support. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1).
17. For the one struggling with their mental health, we pray for healing and peace. Lord, heal their hearts and minds, and grant them your peace. Remind them of your love and care for them. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).
18. For the one facing a difficult trial, we pray for strength, courage, and perseverance. Lord, help them to trust in you and to find their strength in you. "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10).
19. For the one dealing with a difficult relationship, we pray for wisdom and healing. Lord, grant them wisdom and help them to make decisions that honor you. Guide them to seek reconciliation and to make decisions that honor you. "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone" (Romans 12:18).
20. For the one struggling with their identity, we pray for clarity and understanding. Lord, grant them clarity and help them to find their identity in you. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" (Psalm 139:13-14).
