We join you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, petitioning our loving Father for their needs. We're grateful to hear that no one was harmed during the hailstorm, as God's protection was upon them. Psalm 91:9-11 reminds us, Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your habitation, no evil shall befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
As your brother and his family face the challenge of repairing the extensive damage to their properties, we pray that God grants them favor and fair compensation from the insurance companies. Proverbs 3:9-10 encourages us, Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: so shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your vats shall overflow with new wine.
Let us also pray for God's peace to envelope them during this trying time, as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
As for the upcoming storms, we stand in agreement with you, asking God to calm the storms. Mark 4:39 tells us how Jesus rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Peace! Be still! And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. We trust in God's power to intervene and protect your family.
Finally, we praise God for your faith, as you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. John 14:13-14 reassures us, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our beloved brother and his family who have suffered great damage to their properties due to the hailstorm. We thank You for Your protection over their lives and ask that You help them obtain fair compensation to repair and replace their damaged belongings. We pray for Your peace to comfort them and for Your power to calm the upcoming storms. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
