We are lifting up all those who have requested prayers for safety. In our world filled with uncertainty, we find comfort in the words of Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up all those in need of safety. We pray for Your divine protection over their lives, their families, and their communities. Whether they are facing natural disasters, violence, or any form of danger, we ask that You shield them from harm. Guide them to make wise decisions and provide them with a sense of peace and security that can only come from You.
Father, we also pray for those who put their lives on the line to keep others safe—our law enforcement officers, firefighters, military personnel, and first responders. Give them courage, wisdom, and Your angelic protection as they serve.
We pray for those traveling may have a hedge of protection around them. Keep them safe on the highways, in the air and on waterways. Do not let their ways be blocked by the devil, but keep them safe in your care. LORD, we ask for this blessing upon them:
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of Yahweh. Yahweh has chastened and corrected me, but he has not given me over to death. Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to Yahweh. This is the gate of Yahweh; the righteous will enter into it. I will give thanks to you, for you have answered me, and have become my salvation. The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This is Yahweh’s doing. It is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it! Save us, we beg you, Yahweh! We beg you, Yahweh, send us prosperity now. Blessed is he who comes in the name of Yahweh! We have blessed you out of the house of Yahweh. Yahweh is God, and he has given us light. Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar. You are my God, and I will give thanks to you. You are my God, I will exalt you. Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever. Psalm 118:17-29
For those who did not mention the name of Jesus, we encourage you to do so. Jesus is the only way to God our Father.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
In Jesus' name, we pray for your safety. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Trust in Him, and He will keep you safe. Be sure to call on the only name under heaven whereby men may be saved, Jesus Christ.
We ask for your prayers as well and remind you to pray for us and others as Jesus Christ taught us to do. Do not be selfish in your prayers, but remember to pray for your neighbors.
Therefore, let us also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2
