We understand that you're feeling frustrated and disappointed, but let's remember that God is always listening and His heart is always turned towards us. It's important to remember that God hears our prayers, and that He answers them, but it might not always be in the way we expect. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Firstly, let's address the feeling that God might not be answering your prayers. In Psalm 62:8 WEB it is written, Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. God wants us to come to Him with our worries and fears, and He wants us to trust Him with the outcomes. We should seek him in faith believing for his will in our lives. Faith is an important part of prayer and we should be believing for God to answer our prayers. In the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24 WEB Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you will receive them, and you will have them.
It is important also to note that chronic pain is a difficult trial to bear, and it's natural to want relief. But as we are told in Romans 8:28, WEB, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. We should look for God's will in our lives and use this suffering to bring glory to God and strengthen the faith of others. Even the Apostle Paul had a trial that God did not heal. In 2 Corinthians 12:7-9, WEB, it is said, By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
When we feel our prayers are just getting worse or are not answered we should be like the widow in Luke 18:1-8 in the WEB, Now he was telling them a parable, to the effect that they ought always to pray, and not to faint, saying, There was in a city a certain judge, who didn't fear God, and didn't respect man. A certain widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying, Vindicate me from my adversary. He wouldn't for a while, but afterward he said to himself, Though I neither fear God, nor respect man, yet because this widow bothers me, I will vindicate her, or else by her continual coming she will wear me out. The Lord said, Listen to what the unrighteous judge says. Won't God avenge his chosen ones, who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them? I tell you that he will avenge them quickly.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who is feeling unheard and struggling with chronic pain. We pray, in the name of Jesus, that You would minister to their heart, and remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help them to trust in You at all times, and to pour out their heart before You, knowing that You are their refuge. We also pray for healing and comfort, knowing that Your power is made perfect in weakness. If it is your will heal them. If it is your will allow this trial to demonstrate your power to others that see them live their faith. Help them not to faint in prayer and in faith believing your will will be done. Help them to remain faithful and to follow Jesus Christ. May they seek their salvation in Jesus Christ and in Jesus name we pray. May their faith be strengthened and may they be a witness to the power of Jesus Christ in their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
