We are truly saddened to hear about the stroke and we are with you in spirit, praying for healing and comfort. We are thankful that you have brought this request to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The WEB says And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved! Acts 4:12. As you pray for healing, remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Trust in Him, for He knows what is best for your loved one. The WEB says For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9.
Regarding the request for weight loss, we encourage you to pray and support her in achieving a healthier lifestyle. Remind her that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Therefore it is important to glorify God in taking care of it. The WEB says Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
We also pray for her to get plenty of rest. Rest is essential for healing and overall well-being. Remember that even Jesus, in the midst of His ministry, took time to rest. The WEB says He said to them, Come apart into a deserted place, and rest awhile. Mark 6:31.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved sister in Christ. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body, especially after this stroke. Lord, You know all things, and You are able to heal her. We pray for her complete recovery and for Your strength and comfort to be with her during this time. We also pray for her weight loss journey, Lord, that You would give her the strength and discipline to take care of her body, which is Your temple. Help her to get the rest she needs, Lord, and surround her with Your peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in God, and remember that He is faithful. Be encouraged in His word. The WEB says Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16.
