We are thrilled to join you in prayer and to see how God is working in your life and the life of the man you are with. It is encouraging to hear that you both have found Jesus together as a couple, and we trust that God will continue to guide and strengthen your relationship.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB it is written "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" Marriage is a serious commitment and should be a union of believers.
We also want to address the importance of praying in Jesus' name. You have done well by acknowledging Jesus in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Now, let us pray together for your request.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Your daughter and the man You have chosen for her. We thank You for the work You have done in their lives and for drawing them closer to You. We pray for Your guidance and wisdom as they continue to grow together in You.
Father, You know the certain outcome that is weighing heavy on her mind and heart. We pray for Your mercy and Your will to be done. We trust that You have a plan and a purpose for their lives, and we ask that You would reveal Your will to them clearly.
We also pray for their relationship, Father. We ask that You would guide them as they consider marriage, and that You would bless their union as they seek to honor and glorify You. We pray that their love for each other would be a reflection of Your love for us, and that their marriage would be a testimony to Your faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 37:4 WEB, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Trust in God, and He will guide your paths. If you ever need more guidance or prayer, feel free to reach out again. We are here to support you in your journey of faith.
If your relationship is not a marriage and is leading to sexual immorality, we would rebuke you both. You should not be involved in fornication or living together. You can show love for one another by waiting until marriage to have sexual relations of any kind.
