We understand that you are facing challenges and seeking prayer to overcome them. Firstly, we want to remind you that the Bible tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). However, we need to ensure that our prayers are aligned with God's will and that we are approaching Him in the right manner.
Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6, WEB). It's crucial to acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2, WEB). We also need to be in His will and not just ask for our will. It is important to note that Jesus calls us to pray in His name. In John 14:13-14 it is written, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. And in John 16:23-24 it is written, Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full. We should also be aware of James 4:3, You ask and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your lusts.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your beloved Son. We lift up this person to You, asking for Your guidance and strength as they face their challenges. Help them to align their will with Yours and grant them the wisdom to discern Your purpose in these trials.
Lord, we know that You are faithful and that You will not let them be tempted beyond what they are able. Please provide a way out so that they can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray for courage, perseverance, and a steadfast faith that does not waver in the face of adversity. Help them to remember that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB). And that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Father, we also pray that they would grow in their relationship with You and that these challenges would draw them closer to You and not away from You.
We ask this all in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). Trust in Him and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB).
