Let us bring your family before the throne of grace, interceding that they may come to know the love and truth of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
"Father, we lift up the family of the one who has submitted this request. We ask that you soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We pray that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that they may experience the transforming power of Your love. We rebuke any spiritual blindness or strongholds that may be keeping them from experiencing salvation. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for Your mercy and grace to be poured out upon them. Turn their hearts to You.
We also pray for the one who submitted this request. We ask that You fill them with wisdom, patience, and love as they interact with their family. May they be a shining light of Your love to their family. Grant them boldness to speak the truth in love, and opportunities to share the Gospel with their family. We pray that their relationship with their family would ultimately glorify You. Help the submitter to continue to show love, kindness, and respect to their family even if the family does not immediately respond to the Gospel. We claim the promise in 1 Corinthians 7:16 WEB: 'For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?' and apply it to the rest of the family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged by the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 WEB. Just as the father in the parable waited patiently for his son to return, God is patiently waiting for your family to come to Him. Trust in God's timing and remain steadfast in prayer and love. Remember that God desires for all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, as stated in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB: "This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
