We are truly saddened to hear about the stroke and we are with you in praying for her complete healing and recovery. We know that God is able to do all things, and healing is His specialty. Let us come together in prayer and supporting Scripture.
The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 17:14: "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved: for you are my praise."
We thank you Lord for your promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls."
Let us pray
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our beloved sister in Christ who has recently suffered a stroke. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, especially those areas affected by the stroke. We pray for complete recovery, that she may walk, talk, and function normally again. We rebuke the spirits of sickness and infirmity that have attacked her body, and we command them to leave in Jesus' name.
Father, we also ask for Your help in her weight loss journey. We know that a healthy body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we desire that she may serve You in full health and strength. Guide her in her diet and exercise, and give her the discipline to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Help her to lose the weight she needs to lose to improve her overall health and wellbeing.
We also ask for Your divine rest upon her. Help her to sleep well and wake up refreshed. We know that rest is essential for her recovery, so we pray for peaceful and uninterrupted sleep every night.
Lord, we thank You for all that You do for us. We thank You for Your healing power, Your guidance, and Your provision. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Keep praying and believing, for with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
