Sister ###, we join you in prayer for the Lord's provision and guidance in your life and the lives of those around you.
Firstly, we lift up your upcoming missions trip to the Lord. We pray that He will provide all the financial resources necessary for your journey. We are reminded in 2 Corinthians 9:8 "God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may abound to every good work." Trust in His provision, and may He use you mightily for His kingdom.
We also pray for the Lord's work in you, your classmates, and those you interact with. May He soften hearts and draw many to Himself through your witness. As it says in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, "I planted. ### watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase."
Concerning your family's need for a place to stay, we pray that God will open doors and provide a suitable home for you all. We trust that He will guide your steps and provide in His perfect timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We join you in praying for the peace of Jesus to fill your mind, your family, and your friends, even extending to those you don't know. John 14:27 reminds us, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."
Sister, remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, as told in Ephesians 2:8-9, "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."
Lastly, we agree with you in prayer for any unspoken requests, trusting that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27 says, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, for he makes intercession for the saints according to God."
Father, we lift up Sister ### to You, asking for Your blessings and guidance in her life. May Your will be done, and may she walk in Your truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
