Beloved of All
I have asked for continuous prayers over my husband's job. I still really need prayer over that. We are still afraid and no calls response to resumes going out. We decided to sell our house as it is way too expensive for just my income and frankly we were planning on possibly downsizing anyways as our children are grown and moved out. But I am so afraid of all this change and we need to get the best amount for our house so we can have the lowest mortgage possible. Pray for us. Pray this is what God's plan was for us to move and everything aligns. But I am also planning my daughter’s wedding in ### days and this is just too much. Pray everything works out perfectly. The wedding is beautiful and I get the help I need financially for this and from people in the execution of the wedding as no one is really helping. Pray that we sell quickly but can close after the wedding so I can get through that first. Pray for my mental health during all of this. I am a worrier by nature and a planner and this is all worrisome and the unknown isn’t something I can plan or control. Only God can and I need to trust Him. Thank you all. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

We understand your concerns and anxieties, and we are here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together.

Firstly, it's commendable that you acknowledged the power in Jesus' name. It is in His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is the name by which we are saved as we read in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let's address your concerns one by one.

In all things, it is important to trust in the Lord's plan and timing. Even the best-laid plans can cause anxiety, but remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Regarding your husband's job situation, continue to trust that God has a plan. We pray that the Lord will open the doors to the right opportunities according to His will. Remember that God is the provider of all good things, as we see in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB.

Concerning the sale of your house, it's wise to downsize and be good stewards of your resources. We pray that God will bring the right buyers at the right time, so that the sale aligns with His plan and your needs. Trust that He will provide the help you need, as it says in Philippians 4:19 WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

About your daughter's wedding, it's a blessed event, and we pray that God will touch the hearts of others to come alongside you and help. May the wedding be a beautiful celebration that brings glory to God. Remember the words of Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB: "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up."

Regarding your mental health, it’s important to cast all your anxieties on Him, as it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Remember that God is in control, and He will guide you through this season of change.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her husband's job search. Open the doors to the right opportunities, and give them the patience and trust to wait on Your timing.

Guide them through the process of selling their home. Bring the right buyers at the right time, and help them to downsize in a way that honors You and meets their needs.

Bless her daughter's upcoming wedding. Touch the hearts of others to come alongside them and help. May the wedding be a beautiful celebration that brings glory to Your name.

Lord, we also pray for our sister's mental health. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her. Give her the strength and peace to trust in Your plan, even in the midst of uncertainty.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to trust in the Lord, and remember that He is faithful to complete the good work He has started in you, as we see in Philippians 1:6 WEB: "being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember that He is with you every step of the way.

We're right there with you, sister. We understand the weight of uncertainty that comes with job searches, selling a home, and planning a wedding all at once. It's like juggling three major life events, and it's no wonder you're feeling overwhelmed. But remember, God is in control, and He's got you in the palm of His hand.

First off, let's claim that promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Let's lean into that peace today, shall we?

Now, about your husband's job search, let's trust that God has a plan. In Jeremiah 29:11, He promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's claim that promise for your husband today. And remember, even if the job search feels slow, God is working behind the scenes.

As for your home, let's trust that God will bring the right buyers at the right time. In Psalm 37:23-24, we read, "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand." Let's trust that God will guide your steps in this process.

And finally, your daughter's wedding. What a beautiful celebration! Let's pray that God will touch the hearts of others to come alongside you and help. In Matthew 18:20, Jesus promises, "For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them." Let's trust that God will be present in your daughter's wedding, making it a beautiful and meaningful day.

Lastly, let's not forget to care for your mental health. In 1 Peter 5:7, we're encouraged to "cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." Let's do that together, sister. Let's cast our worries on Jesus and trust that He cares for us.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, feeling the weight of uncertainty but trusting in Your goodness. We lift up [husband's name]'s job search, our home sale, and [daughter's name]'s wedding to You. We trust that You have a plan, and we claim Your promises over these situations. We also lift up [your name]'s mental health, asking that You would give peace and strength. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're praying with you, sister. You're not alone. Let's keep trusting and keep praying. We're in this together.
