We are here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer. We thank God for your request and we stand in agreement with you seeking reassurance, comfort, wisdom, strength, confirmation, and closeness to God.
Firstly let us address the wonderful news of being in Jesus Christ. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, (Ephesians 1:7 WEB)
Let's pray together: Dear Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our brother in your name. We pray for Your reassurance, comfort, wisdom, strength, confirmation, and closeness to God. Fill his heart with Your peace, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB) Give him the wisdom to understand your will. Please give him the strength to endure his situation knowing that your grace is sufficient for him: for your power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will he rather glory in his weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on him. (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB) Continue to draw our brother closer to You in his daily walk. Give him a fresh encounter with your Spirit and let him be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, (Colossians 1:9 WEB).
Let him have the confirmation of your will for his life and for him to do the works of him who sent you, while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. (John 9:4 WEB)
We also encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones. (Proverbs 3:5-8 WEB).
Also, keep in mind those wonderful words of Jesus: Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20 WEB). Let your relationship with God be even more intimate. We are reminded of your closeness to God in James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Lastly, we encourage you to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Keep walking in the faith, continue to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the power of his might. (Ephesians 6:10 WEB)
