We are truly saddened to hear about your granddaughter's diagnosis and we are here to support you all in prayer and counsel. We stand with you in faith, believing that God can bring healing and comfort to your granddaughter and guidance for her treatment. We will pray for her to have all the right doctors, therapists and medical team. We pray for God's will to be done, remembering that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us. We also lift up your son, who is caring for your granddaughter, and pray that God would grant him strength, wisdom, and endurance as he cares for her. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, let us address the power of prayer and declare that prayer in the name of Jesus is the only way we can approach God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" Again in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up MelD2924's granddaughter to You. Lord, You know her needs and the challenges she is facing with this rare genetic gene mutation. We ask that You touch her body and bring healing and restoration. Guide her family to the right doctors and therapists who can provide the best care for her. Surround her with Your love and peace, and let Your will be done in her life.
Lord, we also lift up MelD2924's son, who is the main caregiver for his daughter. Grant him the strength, wisdom, and endurance he needs to provide the best care for her. Comfort him in times of stress and uncertainty, and remind him that You are always with him.
Father, we ask that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guards the hearts and minds of this family in Christ Jesus. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
MelD2924, remember that God is faithful and that He cares for you and your family. Trust in Him, and know that He is working all things together for your good according to Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Stay strong in your faith and keep your eyes on Jesus. Continually pray and ask others also to lift up prayers with you for God's will to be done.
