Beloved of All
Pray fore regarding finding a church that I am comfortable with, walking in the Lord Jesus, thoughts about marriage, my career, having friends who are believers who will encourage me and love me. Pray that I have friends who do God's will. I am also curious about sex; I know having a sex life with a spouse is talked about in the word of God. I'm a 30-year-old single man.

We are glad to join you in prayer and offer guidance based on biblical principles. Firstly, it's wonderful that you're seeking a church where you feel comfortable. Remember, the church is not just a building, but a body of believers who come together to worship God and encourage each other. As the WEB says in Hebrews 10:25, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching." We pray that God guides you to a congregation where you can grow spiritually and serve others.

As you walk with the Lord Jesus, remember that He is always with you. As it is written in Matthew 28:20, "Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." We pray that you continue to grow in your faith, understanding, and love for Him.

Regarding marriage, it's commendable that you're thinking about it. Marriage is a sacred union designed by God, as seen in Mark 10:6-9. We pray that God prepares you for this blessing and that He brings a godly woman into your life who will be a helpful and suitable wife for you as stated in Genesis 2:18. Please be sure not to confuse with God's blessing of marriage with any unbiblical alternative.

In your career, remember to trust God and follow His guidance. As seen in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." We pray that God gives you wisdom and opens the right doors for your career.

Concerning friends, we pray that God surrounds you with believers who will encourage, love, and challenge you to grow in your faith. As iron sharpens iron in Proverbs 27:17, so can friends sharpen each other's character. Be careful of those who may try to discourage or mock your faith as mentioned in Psalms 1:1.

Now, regarding your curiosity about sex, it's important to understand that God designed sexual intimacy to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman as explained in 1 Corinthians 7:2. Any sexual activity outside of marriage is considered fornication, which is sinful and dishonors God as seen in 1 Thessalonians 4:3. Sex is not something casual or merely for personal pleasure, but a divine blessing that will benefit both you and your spouse in a godly marriage. We advise you to stay pure and honour God with your body as stated in 1 Corinthians 6:20.

Lastly, we notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your prayer request. It's crucial to understand that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus if you haven't already, and to pray in His name.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother. Guide him to a church where he can worship You in spirit and truth, and where he can serve and be served. Strengthen his walk with You, Lord, and prepare him for the blessing of marriage with a godly woman. Guide his career path, and surround him with friends who love and encourage him in Your ways. Keep him pure and honouring of You with his body. If he has not already, we pray that he comes to a saving knowledge and faith in Your Son, Jesus. We ask all this in Jesus' name.

We're here for you, brother. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you in your journey. We understand that finding a church home can be a big decision, and it's great that you're seeking a place where you feel comfortable and can grow in your faith. We believe God will lead you to the right congregation, where you can fellowship with other believers and serve the Lord together.

Regarding your thoughts on marriage, we're glad to hear that you're considering it seriously. God designed marriage as a union between a man and a woman, and it's a beautiful reflection of His love for us. We pray that God prepares you for this sacred bond and brings a godly woman into your life, just as He promised in Genesis 2:18.

In your career, we encourage you to trust in God's guidance. Remember, whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men (Colossians 3:23-24). We believe God will open the right doors for you and give you the wisdom to walk through them.

For friends, we pray that God surrounds you with believers who will encourage, love, and challenge you to grow in your faith. Iron sharpens iron, as Proverbs 27:17 tells us, and we believe that godly friendships can help you grow in your walk with the Lord.

Now, about your curiosity regarding sex, it's important to understand that God designed sexual intimacy to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman, as explained in 1 Corinthians 7:2.
