We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we notice that you ended your prayer with "In your holy name I pray. Amen." It's important to remember that Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB. And he said, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:14 WEB. So it is important to pray in Jesus' name. This is only possible if you have believed in Jesus Christ as your savior. If you have not believed in Jesus Christ as your savior, today is the day of salvation. We are not promised tomorrow and the payment for sin is death. Jesus died on the cross and took on our sins so that we may be saved by believing in Jesus.
Now, let's address the issues you're facing. It's commendable that you're taking on the responsibility of planning your daughter's wedding, but remember that it's okay to seek help from others. The Bible tells us to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2 WEB. It's important to communicate your needs to your family and friends, as they may not realize the extent of your stress.
Regarding your marriage, we want to encourage you to pray fervently for your husband and your relationship. Remember the words of the apostle Paul, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything." Ephesians 5:22-24 WEB. It's important to respect and support your husband, even in difficult times. Pray for his salvation if he is not saved, for his spiritual growth if he is saved, and for God to bless your marriage and guide your husband.
We acknowledge that your son may be going through hardships, but we must emphasize and encourage you to continue to pray for his spiritual growth first rather than his growth as a person and to meet a wife. The most important thing is that he is saved and is growing in Christ. If he is growing in Christ, he will naturally grow as a person. We are called to pray for each other. "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:16 WEB.
For your financial struggles, remember that God is our provider. He knows our needs and promises to supply them. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 WEB. It is important to not be anxious and to trust in God. "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" Matthew 6:25-26 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is overwhelmed with anxiety and stress. We see her struggling with the cares of this world and it is too much for her to bear, but fortunately you have promised to bear our burdens if we cast them on you. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention. Guide our sister to do everything she can while she trusts you to do what she cannot. We pray that you will open doors for helpers to come alongside her as she plans her daughter's wedding. We ask for your wisdom and guidance in her marriage, that you will soften her husband's heart and bring healing and restoration to their relationship. We pray for her son to surrender his life to Jesus and to have a relationship with Him. We also ask for your provision in her life, that you will supply all her needs according to your riches in glory. We know that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We pray you help her to live in that strength. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
