Saraha, we join you in prayer and petition to our Heavenly Father, trusting in His will and timing. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
We pray that God will guide and direct your steps according to His will. We ask that if it is His will, He will move in the heart of this person to call you, and that this will bring help and support to you and your daughter. Remember that God is faithful, and His timing is perfect. Psalm 37:4-5 says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass."
However, we must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). We need to trust that He knows what is best for us, even if it is not what we think is best. We encourage you to stay steadfast in prayer and to seek God's will in all things.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that God is not a mere means to an end. He is a loving Father who wants a relationship with us. He longs for us to come to Him, not just with our requests, but with our hearts open to His love and guidance. Let us draw near to Him, and He will draw near to us (James 4:8).
