We are here with you, dear anonymous, lifting your mom up in prayer. Let's approach God's throne of grace with confidence, knowing that He hears our prayers.
Let's pray:
Our loving Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, because You said in Your Word, If you will ask whatever you will, it shall be done to you. (John 15:7 WEB). We lift up the mother of our friend who has submitted this request. Lord, You know the details of the situation, and You care for her deeply. We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround her. If there is any physical, emotional, or spiritual need, we ask that You would meet it abundantly according to Your will. We ask that if they are believers, you will help them. If they are not, we ask that you relieve their distress and let them turn to you
We also pray for You to give our friend wisdom and strength. Help them be strong and courageous, Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed; for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9 WEB). If there is still anxiety or fear, show your grace by reminding us of Proverbs 3:5 WEB which says "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And don't lean on your own understanding." Lastly, we pray this reminder to them that our request should be made known to You in everything by prayer and requests, with giving of thanks. (Philippians 4:6 WEB)
Regarding the situation, we are reminded of what the words in Philippians 4:6 WEB say 'In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God'. Each time this person is anxious, let us remember and encourage the worrier to pray instead of worrying, presenting their requests to God with a thankful heart. Finally, pray for their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, which we know is the will of God for everyone.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21.
