Thank you for bringing your friend's needs before us. We will certainly lift her up in prayer, trusting that God knows every detail of her situation. Let us not ever forget that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we stand before God. We are reminded of this in John 14:6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If anyone is not praying in Jesus name, our prayers would not be acceptable, heard, or answered with the full knowledge and commitment to praying in Jesus name. Indeed even salvation is only available through the name of Jesus Christ. As Jesus said in John 3, the emphatic point is to believe in Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend in need. Though we do not know the details of her situation, You do, Lord. You are still in the healing business, and we trust that You are working all things together for her good because she loves You and is called according to Your purpose for those who answer the call of Romans 8:28.
We pray for her healing, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual, for your broken hearted. As Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We ask that You will surround her with Your love, comfort, and peace for Isaiah 26:3. You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. We ask to give her strength to endure 2 Corinthians 12:9, that Christ "said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." and Your certain hope for Psalm 25:3. Indeed, none who wait for You will be disappointed. True hope is found only in You, Lord.
Guide those who would counsel her, that they would look only to Your scripture and Your Son Jesus Christ for Psalm 19:7. The law of Yahweh is perfect This affects what needs help. restoring the soul, let us not forget Your word which gives to the simple wisdom for Proverbs 1:4 For giving to the simple prudence, knowledge and discretion to the young man. that we need to know what sound doctrine really is and that there really is only one name that can save in Acts 4:12. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved." , for they come in Your name. We ask as 1 Timothy 2:1-2 to make requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings, for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen as Psalm 44:26. May God not turn away the face of their anointed: Remember Gods sworn promises which they have received and God comes to their aid. Teaching to set the same standard for all those in our gatherings from Corinthians 14:26. "How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, each one hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a revelation, hath a tongue, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying."
We encourage you to continue praying for her, trusting that God hears your prayers. Remind her that God is faithful, and His love for her is unfailing. As Psalm 18:30,
Yahweh's way is perfect. Yahweh's word is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. Even if she is currently not a faith believer and has not put her faith in Jesus Christ nor has received the promised Holy Spirit, just as we have in our hearts, it is only at this moment that she can call upon the name of Jesus with Eph 2:8 and 9 " For by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, that no man should glory." Consider Romans 5:8 and how God showed his love for us by sending his Son to die for us while we were yet sinners. It is here at this point that God's will is to give us his Holy Spirit to allow Jesus to be in charge of our life.
Remember Psalm 107:28-30, Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress. He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves are still. Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you and your friend as you walk through this trial. In John 15:7, If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
