We understand that you're facing a financial challenge after receiving money from your mom for your birthday. We're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we notice that you haven't explicitly mentioned putting your trust in Jesus Christ for salvation. We want to remind you that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it's written in the Bible:
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
-1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace"
- Ephesians 1:7 WEB.
- John 3:3 WEB
We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ if you haven't already.
Regarding your financial situation, we want to encourage you with these words from the Bible:
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
-Matthew 6:25-33 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Anonymous and their financial need. We thank You for the birthday gift sent through their mom, and we ask for Your divine intervention in returning the money safely to the account abroad. We pray that You would help Anonymous manage their finances wisely and provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we also pray for Anonymous' faith. If they haven't already put their trust in Jesus Christ, we pray that they would come to know You as their personal Savior. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will provide for all their needs.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to steward your finances wisely and trust in God's provision. If there are any underlying issues with the way you are spending that may be a factor, it is also good to set a budget while only buying necessities. Church and feeding the hungry is the only place I can think scriptures mention explicitly giving money outside of bills. Also, be mindful of debt accumilating with bills. Do not borrow.
