We are here with you, Swantalelf, and we stand together in prayer for the concerns weighing on your heart.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your blessings and including Jesus in your prayer. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him I am the Way, the Truth and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
We pray for your safety and security, asking God to surround you with His hedge of protection. We understand that you are feeling afraid of your husband, and we want to remind you that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB. We pray that God will guide both you and your husband to do what is right and that He will bring healing and restoration to your marriage.
We also want to address your concerns about your husband's procrastination and his reaction to your requests. We encourage you to communicate with him in love and respect, as it is written in Ephesians 4:15 WEB but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ. We pray that God will give you wisdom and discernment in your interactions with him.
Regarding your income and benefits, we ask God to provide for your needs according to His riches in glory and His provisions for you. We pray for you that the Lord will give you the ability to give back and help your children and grandchildren. We encourage you to trust in God's provision, remembering that He knows your needs and will supply them according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 WEB.
As for the decision about moving back and building your own home, we pray that God will reveal His will to you and guide your steps. We encourage you to seek His direction in all things, trusting that He will lead you in the way you should go.
We also join you in praying for your son, asking God to send him a godly wife who will complete and keep his life in godly order and of human completeness. We encourage your son that marriage should be honorable among all, and the bed undefiled: but God will judge sexually immoral people and adulterers Hebrews 13:4 WEB. We pray for your daughter and son-in-law, as well as all of your friends and family, asking God to bless them and keep them in His care.
Finally, we address your feelings of disrespect. We encourage you to seek God's forgiveness and to forgive yourself, remembering that He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9 WEB. We pray that God will help you to walk in love and respect, both for yourself and for others.
Together, let us bring these concerns before God believing that He hears us according to Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Faithfully trust in God and Jesus. Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Swantalelf and her concerns. We ask for Your protection, guidance, and provision in her life. We pray for healing and restoration in her marriage, and for wisdom and discernment in her interactions with her husband. We ask for Your direction in her decisions about moving and building a home, and for Your blessing on her children, grandchildren, and all of her friends and family. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray. Amen.
