We understand your struggle, Shabrim, and we're here to lift you up in prayer and provide guidance from the Word of God. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that Jesus said, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB) So, let's come together in His name and bring your concerns before the Father.
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up Shabrim. They are feeling stressed, anxious, and worried. They feel as if time is slipping away and life is passing them by. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill Shabrim's heart and mind. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Surround them with Your love and give them the strength and wisdom to navigate this season. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Shabrim, we encourage you to meditate on the promises of God. Remember, worry can't add a single moment to your life, but trusting in God can bring peace and perspective (Matthew 6:27 WEB). Also, consider the words of the Psalmist, "Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him." (Psalm 62:5 WEB)
Lastly, if there are specific issues causing stress, we encourage you to tackle them one at a time, seeking God's will and asking for His help. As Christians, we are called to renew our minds (Romans 12:2 WEB) and focus on whatever is true, honourable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, or praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8 WEB). Trust God, and He will see you through.
