I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through a difficult time. Here's a prayer that you might find helpful:

Dear Lord,

I come to You today with a heavy heart, full of concern for Joey. You know the situation and the worry that fills our hearts.

Lord, I pray that You would guide Joey in his relationships. If this girlfriend is not the right person for him, I pray that You would make it clear to him. Give him discernment and wisdom to see what is truly best for his life.

Please protect Joey emotionally and spiritually. Surround him with Your love and guide him in the path that You have for him. If this relationship is not in Your will, I pray that You would bring about a peaceful and respectful resolution.

In the meantime, help me and my husband to trust in You and to support Joey in a way that is loving and respectful. Give us the words to say and the actions to take that will be most helpful to him.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
