Wilann, we are here with you, seeking God's will in your desire to move forward in love. We commend you for turning to God's love, for it is written in 1 John 4:8, "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love."
However, we must ensure that our understanding of love aligns with biblical principles. If your love is directed towards someone in a romantic context, we encourage you to consider the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. In Hebrews 13:4, it is clearly stated, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
If your relationship is leading towards marriage, we pray that God will guide both of you, that you may grow together in faith and love. If not, we gently remind you that relationships outside of God's design can lead us away from His will. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, we are reminded, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for Wilann. Guide them, Lord, in their journey of love. Help them to understand Your design for relationships and give them the strength to align their desires with Your will. Lead them to the right path, Lord, where they can find a godly spouse if that is Your plan for them. Fill their heart with Your love, that they may share it with others, especially with those who need to know You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Wilann, continue to seek God's will in all things. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. If you have not already, consider the importance of Jesus Christ in your life. It is through Him that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
