Prayers please, that God would give me an outgoing personality. I’ve always been shy and reserved, and I really wanna change. I was abused growing up, and I believe that had an adverse effect on my personality. Prayers, in Jesus name.

We understand your desire to have a more outgoing personality and we are here to support you in prayer and to offer guidance from a biblical perspective. Let us first address your request with a heartfelt prayer:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up ###. Lord, they have been struggling with shyness and the effects of past abuse, and they desire a change in their personality to be more outgoing. God, we know that you are the one who can heal all wounds and transform lives. We ask that you touch their heart, Lord, and help them to overcome their past and step into the confident and outgoing person you created them to be. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We commend you for acknowledging the power of prayer in Jesus' name. It is through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Regarding your personality, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). While abuse may have affected your personality, know that God can heal and restore you. As it is written in Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."

To grow more outgoing, consider practicing hospitality and kindness, as encouraged in Romans 12:13 (WEB), "Contribute to the needs of the saints; given to hospitality." Additionally, seek God's will for your life and trust that He is working in you to develop your character, as described in Romans 12:2 (WEB), "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God and growing in your relationship with Him. As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8, WEB), and you will experience the transformation that only He can bring about. Stay strong in your faith and trust in the Lord.

"Dear Lord, we come before you today, lifting up our friend. Lord, they've been carrying the weight of past shyness and abuse, and they're yearning to be more outgoing. We know that You see them, Lord, and we trust that You're working in their life. Help them to embrace the confidence and outgoing nature You've created them for. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

Remember, God sees you, and He's been walking this journey with you. As it's written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust in His healing power.

To grow more outgoing, consider stepping out in small ways. Maybe it's striking up a conversation with someone new, or inviting a friend over for dinner. Each step, no matter how small, is progress. And always remember, God is with you every step of the way.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
