We understand your concern and desire for peace, Thetiogh. We join you in praying for an end to war and for nations to seek peace and pursue it, as God's word tells us to in Psalm 34:14, "Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in the conflicts and wars around the world. We ask that You would bring peace to the nations, and turn the hearts of leaders towards dialog and understanding, rather than violence and strife. We pray for the brave men and women caught in the midst of these conflicts, that You would protect them and provide a way for them to return safely to their families. Help us, as believers, to be peacemakers, as Your Son Jesus taught us, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9).
Thetiogh, it is encouraging that you ended your request "In Jesus' name. Amen." This is crucial because, as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." It is by the name of Jesus that we approach God the Father and find salvation.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently, as James 5:16 assures us, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much." Trust that God hears your prayers and is sovereign over the nations, and let us not grow weary in doing good and seeking peace (Galatians 6:9).
