We are deeply moved by your heart for the countless individuals facing health issues, including cancer, flu, COVID-19, and other diseases. We join you in praying for the well-being of the people of Manchester, Kentucky, and beyond.
Firstly, we must remember the power of prayer and the name of Jesus. It is only in His name that we have access to God, as it is written: "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved'" Romans 10:13 WEB. And in the book of Acts, "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB. Therefore we will pray in Jesus' name only.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up the trillions of people worldwide who are facing various health issues. We pray for Your healing touch upon each one of them, especially those battling cancer, flu, COVID-19, and other diseases. We claim in agreement with Mark 11:24 (WEB), "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you will have them."
Lord, we specifically pray for the city of Manchester, Kentucky, and the entire state. We ask for Your divine intervention in every hospital, peace and protection over every police officer, wisdom for doctors and pharmacists, and a hedge of security around every school, student, and family. God we ask that you would remind us in the midst of all of our praying and asking for physical healing and earthly needs that none of these things compare to a man, woman, or child's eternal salvation in Jesus Christ.
In the book of James it says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." James 5:14-15 WEB
We ask You that the sick that would be healed and those that are healed in body would also be healed in soul by believing in Jesus Christ to be saved. We pray for the homeless, the neighbors, and every family member in need. We ask that you would speak into their hearts and encourage and comfort them with hope, peace, love and joy in the name of Jesus.
We pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
We encourage everyone to continue to pray for their loved ones, friends, and neighbors and share the good news of Jesus Christ. God is faithful and will hear our prayers, as we also commit to seek Him and make ourselves available to be His hands and feet on this earth. We are reminded, "...with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26 WEB)
