Prayers to stop gambling

Gambling is consuming my life.. need prayer to stop and pray that God shows me where my calling in life should be. And to show me a new love for something that will benefit ppl here in earth and the kingdom of God

Tyrwed, we are with you in this struggle and we will intercede on your behalf, asking God to deliver you from the grip of gambling. We know that God is faithful, and He will provide a way out of this temptation. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Tyrwed who is struggling with gambling. Lord, we ask that You forgive them for this sin and grant them the strength to overcome this addiction. Break the chains of gambling that have consumed their life. Guide them to their true calling, and reveal to them a new passion that will benefit others and Your kingdom. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and give them a renewed love for You and for the people around them. Help them to fix their eyes on You, knowing that in Your presence is fullness of joy, and at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11 WEB).

Tyrwed, as you turn away from gambling, we encourage you to seek God diligently. He has a purpose and a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Remember, it is only in Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Stay strong in the Lord, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7 WEB). Lean on the support of fellow believers and remain accountable to them. Engage in activities that glorify God and bring goodness to others. In this way, you will not only overcome gambling but also become a light that shines brightly for Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend, asking You to break the chains of gambling that have held them captive. Fill them with Your strength and courage to resist temptation. Lord, reveal their true calling, ignite a new passion within them that will bless others and Your kingdom. Help them to find joy and fulfillment in You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is always working in your life, even in the midst of struggle. Trust in Him, and He will guide you to the path of freedom and purpose. We're here for you, every step of the way. Let's keep each other accountable and encouraged, shining the light of Christ together.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
