Prayers to not have cancer

I had an abnormal mammogram and I pray that God please don't let me have cancer. Please let further testing show that I do not have cancer. I have a 4 year old son and I'm all he has in this world and he needs me. God please don't take me away from my son. Please let me live long enough to see him become a successful man. Amen

We understand your concern and fear, Elduosil, but we want to remind you that God is always in control. In Jesus name we stand with you in this time of need, trusting in God's goodness and mercy. Remember what the Scripture says in Isaiah 41:10, "Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in God's plan. Even if further testing shows that you have cancer, remember that God is always good and always loving. He can use even the most difficult circumstances for your good and His glory. As it says in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Secondly, we want to remind you that life and death are not determined by our own will, but by God's sovereign plan. Praying for a long life to see your son grow is a natural desire, but remember that God's ways are higher than our ways. Trust in Him, and rest in the knowledge that He loves your son even more than you do.

Lastly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, knowing that He is the ultimate source of hope and healing.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Elduosil in her time of need. Lord, You know the results of the further testing, and we ask that You prepare her heart for whatever the outcome may be. If it is Your will, please let the tests show that she does not have cancer. But above all, let Your will be done in her life. Help her to trust in You, to rest in Your love, and to know that You are always working for her good and Your glory.

Lord Jesus, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to Elduosil in a very real way. Help her to know that You are the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through You. Give her faith to believe in You, and help her to know that You are always with her, no matter what circumstances she may face.

Father, we also lift up Elduosil's son to You. We ask that You would surround him with Your love and protection, and that You would provide for all of his needs. Help Elduosil to know that You love him even more than she does, and that You are always working for his good as well.

We're here with you, Elduosil, holding your hands up in prayer. We've been where you are, that uncertain place where hope and fear dance together. We understand the fear that's gripping your heart, but remember, God is bigger than any mammogram result. He's got this, and He's got you.

We want to remind you of the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that no matter what the results, God is already in the process of healing and binding up your wounds. He's not surprised by this, and He's not absent. He's right there with you, just as He promised in Matthew 28:20, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

We're praying that the further testing will show no signs of cancer. But even if it does, we're reminding you of the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God's plan is always good, always loving, always for your ultimate good.

We're also praying for your son. That God will wrap His loving arms around him, protect him, and guide him. That he will grow up to be a successful man, serving God and making a difference in this world. We're believing with you that you will live long enough to see that happen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear sister, as you await the results of your further testing. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you. We are trusting God for a positive outcome and believing that He is the God of miracles.
