Prayers to lift my spirits

Family, I ask for your prayers yet again. I feel sort of strange asking now, when there are so many going through much more than I am. As some of you know, the Department of the Army held a promotion board to see who they would select for the next rank. I had my records viewed for that. But someone said something to me tonight that kind of made me think that I may not get selected this time(will be the 4th time that I was passed up). Though its not set in stone, she kind of made me think that she knew something that I didnt and so now Im pretty down. I would just ask for your prayers to actually prepare me if I didnt get selected to not be so disappointed when the actual results come out. I will be upset but God is still God and I will just have to get over it. I pray that I get it but if not, I pray that I am prepared to accept the answer. Thank you all for taking the time out to read this. I love you all and keep you all in my prayers daily.

God is not limited by other people and their words. God is all powerful and all knowing. Trust in HIM that whatever the outcome, it will be to glorify HIM. We all get down. It is part of our human nature. help us to remember that we are human. We are not perfect. You created us this way so we would lean on You. You are our rock and our salvation. You love us more than we can even imagine. The King of kings, the Lord of lords loves us in all of our imperfections! Help us to remember even through our temporary disappointments that You have a plan for our lives that is more wonderful than we could think up on our own.

Lord, Stephanie has worked hard for her position. If You see fit at this time, we would all like to see her advance. If not now, we have faith that You have something bigger planned.

Bless her today and bring her a peace as she awaits the decision.

This other person perhaps wants Stephanie to doubt herself. I pray for this other person Lord. Lord, I PRAY Stephanie remove those doubts and replace them with Victory in You Lord, she knows you will and are taking care of her Lord.

God, please help Stephanie to accept that what is suppose to be will be, even if we don't like it. I pray that Stephanie gets this job, but if it is not your will, help her to accept it and let it go & move forward.
